Cast Study
The project is about life and growth. It is made from words in different languages about healing and growth. These words were collected from the students and staff who used the facility. (Letter Key indicate the location and shape of the letters)
Instead of making a single art object, or particular site-specific installation, the artwork is designed to come from outside to inside of the building, from floor to floor, from space to space, and then goes outside courtyard again. The artwork is subtle yet, and threads and connects in and out the architect like vine.
The Point:
The artwork is particularly made inch by inch for the site, and is not able to move and take away. The light also plays very important role, particular reflections from glass windows. The neon green color at north courtyard changes its look every hour due to the light passing through the area.
